'Students First: Brazil' tells the inspiring story of Sobral, a small city in northeastern Brazil that soared to the top of national education rankings in 2017, having started at 1,366th place in 2005. Sobral's success showcases the power of effective school leadership.​ The series highlights how Sobral's school leaders, through merit-based selection, continuous training by GSL's Brazil partner Centro Lemann, and data-driven practices, have transformed their schools, fostering an environment where students excel.​

'Students First: Kenya' explores how school leaders, alongside parents and teachers, are facilitating the transition from Kenya's exam-oriented curriculum to a new Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).​ Set in Bright Bridgesons Learning Academy in Nairobi, this three-part series highlights the pivotal role of school leaders in bridging policy with practice, shifting deep-rooted mindsets, and nurturing practical skills and competencies among students.​​
'Students First: India' highlights the school leadership journey of School Principal B.M. Suvarna Latha at a girls’ residential school in Boath, Telangana. The series delves into the unique challenges of leading in this context and shows how she leverages shared leadership, data from her school, and lessons from GSL's India partner Alokit's school leadership training programs to enhance school management and create a safe and enabling learning environment.​
