Esmail Bagasrawala

Esmail has over two years of experience in the communications space with a special focus on the development sector. He holds experience in storytelling, social media, public relations and working with network teams to accelerate communication functions. He has also worked with diverse national and international development organizations cutting across sectors including education, healthcare, arts, sports and livelihood.

In his most recent role at the UNAIDS Office of Innovation, Esmail managed the digital communications for the UNAIDS Solidarity Fund and the Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx), both advocating for access to economic resources and healthcare for vulnerable communities. 

The foundation of his career was laid by his time at Teach For India and Tata Trusts. Esmail completed his Masters in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2020.
